About
I moved to the central coast of California in 2014 from Brooklyn, NY to live near family and be closer to nature and I couldn’t be more happy or grateful that I ended up here. I am a Science Illustrator specializing in creating illustrations that explain concepts, show how things work inside an organism, illustrate lifecycles, etc. I have illustrated a broad range of scientific subjects that have been used for various publications. My goal is to help people gain a greater understanding of science and nature through providing engaging and scientifically accurate Illustrations. I also have experience in art direction at a science-based magazine. I do have a special interest in entomology and have to admit that is my favorite subject to draw.
Besides doing Illustration, I currently work as a Registered Veterinary Technician at a great veterinary hospital in San Luis Obispo. Animals make me very happy and I love being around them and helping them feel better. I also have a long-term contract doing publication design for the American Museum of Natural History. This all keeps me pretty busy but I am always open to new projects and illustration opportunities. If there is anything I can do to help you with imagery for a project or publication, please let me know. I look forward to hearing from you!
